Alexander Gustafsson has suffered an injury and he off the UFC 178 card, replacing him against Jon Jones will be Daniel Cormier. Jones will be making the eighth defense of his championship, last defending it against Glover Teixeira at UFC 172. Cormier has won all four of his previous UFC bouts and he also won the Strikeforce Heavyweight Grand Prix. UFC 178 takes place on September 27th from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada with the aforementioned fighters headlining.
