A welterweight division attraction has been added to UFC Fight Night 53 as Cathal Pendred faces Gasan Umalatov. Pendred is currently undefeated under the UFC banner, having defeated Mike King at UFC Fight Night: McGregor vs. Brandao. Umalatov will be looking to build on the momentum of his first UFC victory, which came over Paulo Thiago at the UFC Ultimate Fighter Brazil III Finale. UFC Fight Night 53 takes place on October 4th from the Ericsson Globe Arena in Stockholm, Sweden with Rick Story and Gunnar Nelson headlining.
