Following the end of the eleventh season, which starts this September, Bellator will be changing formats as they will run monthly shows instead of weekly shows. Bellator President Scott Coker stated that Bellator will run a total of sixteen events per year on Spike TV, with twelve monthly events and four “pay-per-view-like†events as well. The tournament format as seen in recent years has also gone by the wayside, so Bellator MMA has seen plenty of changes already in Scott Cokers short run as president.
