Following Joby Sanchez's signing with the UFC, Alexandre Pantoja has agreed to step in on short notice to fight RFA Flyweight Champion Matt Manzanares at RFA 18. Pantoja will be making his RFA debut in this fight and he does so while riding a seven fight winning streak. Manzanares will be making the first defense of his championship, which he won by defeating Junior Maranhao at RFA 14. Resurrection Fighting Alliance 18 takes place on September 12th from the Albuquerque Convention Center in Albuquerque, New Mexico with the aforementioned fighters headlining.
