A potentially huge flyweight division contest has been added to UFC Fight Night 56 as John Lineker battles Ian McCall. Lineker has won five of his last six under the UFC banner, most notably defeating Alptekin Ozkilic at UFC Fight Night: Cerrone vs. Miller. McCall will enter the fight riding a two fight winning streak, last defeating Brad Pickett at UFC Fight Night: McGregor vs. Brandao. UFC Fight Night 56 takes place on Tancredo Neves Municipal Gymnasium in Minas Gerais, Brazil with no headliner announced as of yet.
