Two more fights have been added to the UFC 179 card as Alan Patrick faces Beneil Dariush and Yan Cabral faces Naoyuki Kotani. Patrick is currently undefeated in UFC competition, most notably defeating John Makdessi at UFC 169. Dariush has won two of three during his UFC run, with his last fight being a win over Tony Martin at UFC Fight Night: Henderson vs. Dos Anjos.
Cabral is looking to rebound from his first professional MMA defeat, which came to Zak Cummings at UFC Fight Night: Brown vs. Silva. Kotani is currently winless under the UFC banner, having dropped a fight to Norman Parke at UFC Fight Night: McGregor vs. Brandao. UFC 179 takes place on October 25th from the Maracanazinho Gymnasium in Rio De Janiero, Brazil with Jose Aldo and Chad Mendes headlining.
