Palelei has won three of four fights during his second UFC run, but his last fight was a loss to Jared Rosholt at UFC Fight Night: Te Huna vs. Marquardt. Omielanczuk will be looking to rebound from his first UFC defeat, which came to Jared Rosholt at UFC Fight Night: Minotauro vs. Nelson.

Matthews is currently undefeated in UFC competition, having defeated Dashon Johnson at UFC Fight Night: Te Huna vs. Marquardt. Rocha will be returning to the UFC after a four year absence, but he has been undefeated since his last UFC appearance. Andrews has won two of three fights under the UFC banner, most notably defeating Papy Abedi at UFC Fight Night: Condit vs. Kampmann II. Alvey is currently winless in UFC competition, dropping a fight to Tom Watson at UFC Fight Night: Bader vs. St. Preux.

Grujic will be looking to build on the momentum of his first UFC win, which came over Chris Indich at UFC Fight Night: Te Huna vs. Marquardt. Clements will be returning to action after a one year layoff and he has not achieved a victory in well over two years. UFC Fight Night 55 takes place on November 8th from the All Phones Arena in Sydney, Australia with Michael Bisping and Luke Rockhold headlining.
