One time top ten middleweight competitor Francis Carmont has been released by the UFC, his current MMA record is 22-10-0. Carmont leaves the promotion on a three fight losing streak, with those losses coming to Thales Leites, CB Dollaway and Ronaldo Souza. Prior to those losses, Carmont was undefeated in the UFC, with big wins coming over Chris Camozzi, Tom Lawlor, Lorenz Latkin and Costas Philippou. Carmont's last bout in the promotion was the aforementioned loss to Thales Leites at UFC Fight Night: Henderson vs. Dos Anjos.
