Current UFC Middleweight Champion Chris Weidman has suffered a hand injury and his title defense against Vitor Belfort will be moved to February of next year. In its place as the main event of UFC 181 will be a rematch for the UFC Welterweight Title as Johny Hendricks defends against Robbie Lawler. Hendricks and Lawler first met back at UFC 171, where Hendricks won the then-vacant welterweight title when he defeats Lawler by decision. UFC 181 takes place on December 6th from the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas, Nevada with the aforementioned fighters headlining.
