Following the injury to Robert Whiteford, Taylor Lapilus has agreed to step in on short notice to fight Dennis Siver at UFC Fight Night 53. Lapilus will be making his UFC debut in this fight, but he is a veteran of the 100% Fights MMA promotion. Siver has won two of four fights since dropping to featherweight, but he is coming off of a suspension from a failed drug test. UFC Fight Night 53 takes place on October 4th from the Ericsson Globe in Stockholm, Sweden with Rick Story and Gunnar Nelson headlining.
