UFC veteran Sean McCorkle has announced his retirement from mixed martial arts, he retires with a record of 17-7-0. McCorkle had a three fight run in the UFC, defeating Mark Hunt at UFC 119, but subsequent losses to Stefan Struve and Christian Morecraft lead to his release. Throughout his nine year MMA career, McCorkle fought top names like Mark Hunt, Stefan Struve, Christian Morecraft, Soa Palelei, Satoshi Ihshii and Mariusz Pudzianowski. McCorkle’s last bout came at Island Fights 30 in September of this year, where he suffered a submission loss to Richard White.
