Former World Series Of Fighting Featherweight Champion Georgi Karakhanyan has signed a multi-fight deal with Bellator MMA. Karakhanyan had a three fight run in the WSOF that saw him defeat Lance Palmer to win the featherweight title, but he lost the gold to Rick Glenn at the WSOF X. Karakhanyan previously fought in Bellator MMA in 2010/2011, suffering losses to current featherweight champion Patricio Freire and interim bantamweight champion Joe Warren. There is no word yet on when Karakhanyan will make his official return to the promotion, but is should come before the end of the year.
