BELLATOR 128 MAIN CARD PREVIEW

By David Tees on 10/6/2014 9:17 PM

Bellator MMA will be kicking off another big weekend of MMA action and they are doing so in the greatest way possible. That is due to the fact that bantamweight champion Eduardo Dantas faces interim bantamweight champion Joe Warren in a title unification main event. Also, striking phenom Michael Page faces UFC veteran Nah-Shon Burrell and Bubba McDaniel is in action.

Kicking off the action is a middleweight division bout as Bubba “The Menace” McDaniel (23-8-0) competes against Emiliano “He-Man” Sordi (12-4-0). McDaniel is a UFC veteran who is undefeated in Bellator MMA, having defeated Matt Jones at Bellator 121. Sordi will be making his Bellator MMA debut in this fight and he will be returning to action after a year layoff. McDaniel is one of the better submission fighters in Bellator MMA and he will show his submission prowess as he defeats Sordi.

A pair of lightweights will clash next as Derek “The Stallion” Campos (15-4-0) battles Alexander “Tiger” Sarnavskiy (28-2-0). Campos is coming off of the biggest win of his career, as he defeated UFC veteran Estevan Payan at Bellator 126. Sarnavskiy has won three straight fights since his last Bellator MMA appearance and he is a past Bellator tournament finalist. Campos is returning to action after a two week layoff and he will shock the MMA world by upsetting Sarnavskiy to cap off a milestone month.

Up next is a welterweight division attraction as Nah-Shon “The Rock-N-Rolla” Burrell (10-4-0-1NC) takes on Michael “Venom” Page (6-0-0). Burrell is a UFC veteran who has only won just one of three since his UFC release, with that lone win coming over Jesus Martinez at Bellator 108. Page has already competed twice in Bellator MMA and he was the winner of the first Bellator MMA fight to air on pay-per-view. Page is a fighter that has a very bright future ahead of him and he will get his biggest win to date as he defeats the UFC veteran.

Headlining this card is a title unification fight as Bellator Bantamweight Champion Eduardo “Dudu” Dantas (16-3-0) faces Bellator Interim Bantamweight Champion Joe Warren (11-3-0). Dantas will be making the third defense of his belt, last defending it against Anthony Leone at Bellator 111. Warren became the interim champion at Bellator 118, when he defeated Rafael Silva by unanimous decision. Dantas is one of the best fighters in the world right now and he will add another notch to his belt when he defeats Warren to unify the belts.
