Welcome to the PWInsiderXtra.com live coverage of the World Series Of Fighting 14 Preliminary Card, live from the Edmonton Expo Centre in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada.

Fight #1 - WSOF Lightweight Division Fight

Roger Alves (2-1-0) vs. David Swanson (2-0-0)

Referee: Kyle Cardinal

Round One

The round begins with Alves attacking Swanson with some leg kicks, Swanson backs up Alves after a few kick attempts. Alves scores a takedown on Swanson and he gets the full guard, Alves starts nailing Swanson with some ground and pound. Swanson eats more strikes as he wall walks to his feet, Alves quickly scores another takedown on Swanson and he gets the half guard. Swanson quickly forces Alves back into the full guard position, Alves postures up to crack Swanson with more strikes as the round ends.

Round Two

The round begins with Alves cracking Swanson with an overhand right, Alves scores a takedown on Swanson and he gets side control. Alves moves to the half guard while attacking Swanson with ground and pound, Swanson quickly forces Alves into his full guard. Alves occasionally postures up to hit Swanson with strikes, Alves returns to the half guard position on Swanson. Swanson scrambles to his feet as Alves catches him with more strikes, Alves drags Swanson to the ground again and he gets back control. Alves looks for a choke as Swanson scrambles to get him into the full guard as the round ends.

Round Three

The round begins with Alves scoring a takedown on Swanson and he gets the full guard, Alves goes right back to pummeling Swanson with ground and pound. Alves eventually transitions to the half guard on Swanson, Swanson scrambles to his feet and Alves drags him back to the ground. The referee stands up the fighters after inactivity and Alves attacks Swanson with an overhand right, Alves scores another takedown on Swanson and he gets the half guard as the round ends.

Fight Result: Roger Alves def. David Swanson by unanimous decision (30-27, 30-27, 30-27)

Fight #2 - WSOF Catchweight Division Fight

Matt Baker (10-7-0) vs. Cody Krahn (15-9-0)

Referee: John Brock

Round One

The round begins with Krahn forcing Baker into the cage wall while throwing strikes, Baker responds by cracking Krahn with uppercuts. Krahn attacks Baker with knee strikes until Baker scores the takedown, Baker gets back control on Krahn while using ground and pound. Baker also attacks Krahn with knee strikes to the midsection, Krahn gets top position on Baker after escaping a submission. Krahn starts attacking Baker with some ground and pound of his own, Baker catches Krahn in an arm bar from out of nowhere to force a tap out.

Fight Result: Matt Baker def. Cody Krahn by submission via arm bar (2:28, R1)

Fight #3 - WSOF Featherweight Division Fight

Hakeem Dawodu (2-0-0) vs. Mike Malott (4-0-0)

Referee: John Braak

Round One

The round begins with Malott nailing Dawodu with a side kick to the upper body, Dawodu quickly attacks Malott with leg kicks. Malott grabs a hold of Dawodu to nail him with a few knee strikes, Dawodu backs up Malott after landing a punching combination. Malott responds by catching Dawodu with a counter strike combination, Malott scores a takedown on Dawodu and he gets back control. Dawodu stands up and he shakes Malott off of his back, Dawodu then hits an incoming Malott with a two punch combination. Dawodu rocks Malott with a right and he swarms on him with a plethora of strikes until the referee jumps in.

Fight Result: Hakeem Dawodu def. Mike Malott by TKO via strikes (4:13, R1)

Fight #4 - WSOF Heavyweight Division Fight

Tim Hague (16-8-0) vs. Craig Hudson (4-4-0)

Referee: John Braak

Round One

The round begins with Hague quickly swarming on Hudson with a variety of strikes, Hague backs up Hudson again after landing a left hook. Hudson responds by cracking Hague with a right to the midsection, Hudson starts popping Hague with several lefts. Hudson moves around Hague while peppering him with jabs, Hague recovers by catching Hudson with a left to the rib cage. Hudson continuously attacks Hague with two punch combinations, Hudson backs up Hague after catching him with a left hook. Hague starts hitting Hudson with some leg kicks, Hudson catches a backing Hague with a right uppercut as the round ends.

Round Two

The round begins with Hudson just swinging away at Hague, Hudson then hits a ducking Hague with a right to the head. Hudson then cracks a swinging Hague with a counter left hook, Hudson continues backing up Hague while landing strikes. Hudson continuously attacks Hague with a plethora of lefts, Hudson also peppers Hague with plenty of jabs as well. Hague finally lands a strike after cracking Hudson with a looping right, Hague backs up Hudson after landing a left hook as the round ends.

Round Three

The round begins with Hudson backing up Hague by peppering him with jabs, Hudson then cracks Hague with a right uppercut. Hague scores a takedown on Hudson and he gets the half guard, Hague quickly transitions to side control on Hudson. Hague then advances to the full mount on Hudson, Hague starts attacking Hudson with some ground and pound until Hudson goes out cold.

Fight Result: Tim Hague def. Craig Hudson by TKO via strikes (2:55, R3)
