(13.10.14, London) The leaders in Mixed Martial Arts sports entertainment, BAMMA, is proud to announce the debut of its most recent signing, Walter "The Sniper" Gahadza as he faces off against Frenchman Mickael Lebout at BAMMA 17 which will held on 6th December 2014, from the Victoria Warehouse, Manchester.
Gahadza, currently ranked inside the top 10 Welterweights in the UK*, trains out of TSG in Essex and is the current training partner of BAMMA Welterweight superstar, Paul "Semtex" Daley.
The 'Sniper' holds a 14-0 Professional record. Of his 14 wins, 6 have come via TKO, 5 via Submission & 3 via Decision.
Walter had this to say about his debut: “I’m very excited to be fighting on BAMMA against a great opponent like Mickael but make no mistake that on December 6th the fans are going to see the best Sniper ever and Mikael is just the unfortunate guy standing in front of my scope when it’s time for me to blast somebody”
Mickael Lebout fights out of Crossfight in Paris, France. He currently holds a 11-3-1-1 record and is on a 4 fight win streak. Mickael Lebout is an expert in submission, with 6 of wins coming via submission stoppages. Victorious over his 5 fights in Pankration in 2011, he soon moved to MMA in early 2012.
Mickael said: "For my BAMMA debut, Walter Gahadza represents a tough fighter to face, one of the top UK welterweight prospects, undefeated... So taking such a fighter and getting a victory over him would end my year greatly and it would end his year with his first defeat of his career. Anyway, Walter will remember the 6th December all his life, this night he will the first loss on his fight record."
