A welterweight division attraction has been set for UFC 183 as Thiago Alves is set for action against Jordan Mein. Alves has only competed once in the last two years, which was a win over Seth Baczynski at UFC On Fox 11. Mein has won three of four fights under the UFC banner, most notably defeating Mike Pyle at UFC Fight Night: Henderson vs. Dos Anjos. UFC 183 takes place on January 31st from a location TBA in Las Vegas, Nevada with Anderson Silva and Nick Diaz headlining.
