Former UFC Middleweight and Light Heavyweight Title challenger Chael Sonnen has been hired by ESPN as an MMA Analyst. Sonnen had the same position at Fox Sports, but he was let go from his deal after a failed drug test in his final UFC fight. Sonnen has done a bit of color commentary since leaving the UFC and Fox Sports, working alongside Jim Ross at Battlegrounds MMA I. Sonnen will primarily provide insight on major UFC events and may participate in other ESPN related duties as well.
