UFC veteran Cody McKenzie has announced his retirement from MMA competition, his career record was 15-6-0. McKenzie went 3-4-0 during his stint in the UFC, but he was released by the promotion after a loss to Sam Stout at UFC On Fox IX. During his eight year MMA career, McKenzie fought top names like Yves Edwards, Chad Mendes, Leonard Garcia, Sam Stout and Brock Larson. McKenzie’s last bout as a pro came at M-1 Challenge 54 earlier this month, where he was knocked out by Beslan Isaev.
