Following the controversial Cung Le drug test situation, the UFC has opted to cancel its year-round in house drug testing program. Besides the Cung Le (who is now involved in a lawsuit against the UFC), the promotion decided the cost ratio would be too burdensome for them to handle. UFC President Dana White also stated at a UFC 182 Press Conference that the promotion would instead be donating money to individual athletic commissions to help improve their drug testing abilities.
