Glover Teixeira has suffered a knee injury and he is off UFC Fight Night 61, opponent Rashad Evans has also been pulled from the card. The new main event for UFC Fight Night 61 will be a heavyweight division bout between Antonio Silva and Frank Mir, which was originally set for UFC 184. Silva will enter the fight on a two fight losing streak, with one of those losses coming to UFC Heavyweight Champion Cain Velasquez. Mir will enter the fight riding a four fight losing streak and he has not achieved a victory in over three years. UFC Fight Night 61 takes place on February 22nd from the Gigantinho Gymnasium in Porto Alegre, Brazil with Antonio Silva and Frank Mir headlining.
