Two time UFC veteran Mats Nilsson has announced his retirement from MMA competition, he retires with a record of 11-4-1. Nilsson fought twice for the UFC, suffering defeats to both Luke Barnatt and Omari Akhmedov respectively. During his six year MMA career, Nilsson fought top names like Magnus Cedenblad, Tom Speer, Tor Troeng and Luke Barnatt. Nilsson’s last bout as a pro came earlier this month as UFC 182, where he suffered a decision loss to Omari Akhmedov.
