UFC veteran and former WEC Bantamweight Champion Brian Bowles has been arrested by the Jackson County (Georgia) Sheriff’s Office for possession of methamphetamine, diazepam and marijuana. Bowles was arrested on January 14th (he is still in prison as of this writing) after police went to his home to serve an arrest warrant to a woman who was thought to be in his home at the time.
When police arrived, the woman was not there, but Bowles and his stash of illegal drugs were there and he was arrested. Bowles is currently in the Jackson County (Georgia) Jail and he is being charged with a total of seven crimes, no court date has been set as of this writing. Bowles has only competed one time in the last four years, which was a TKO loss to George Roop at UFC 160.
