Following the injury to Thiago Tavares, Levan Makashvili has agreed to step up on short notice to face Nik Lentz at UFC Fight Night 60. Makashvili will be making his UFC debut in this fight, but he once challenged for the Cage Fury Fighting Championships Featherweight Title. Lentz has won four of five fights since dropping to featherweight, most notably defeating Manny Gamburyan at UFC Fight Night: Brown vs. Silva. UFC Fight Night 60 takes place on February 14th from the 1st Bank Arena in Broomfield, Colorado with Ben Henderson and Brandon Thatch headlining.
