A total of seven bouts have been added to UFC Fight Night 65 as Brad Tavares faces Robert Whittaker, Sean O’Connell faces Anthony Perosh, Jake Matthews faces James Vick, Seo Hee Ham faces Bec Rawlings, Dylan Andrews faces Brad Scott, Alex Chambers faces Kailin Curran and Vik Grujic faces Brendan O’Reilly.
Tavares has only won just one of his last three bouts, with that lone win coming over Nate Marquardt at UFC 182. Whittaker will enter the fight riding a two fight winning streak and he was the winner of the UFC Ultimate Fighter: The Smashes. O’Connell will be looking to build on the momentum of his first UFC victory, which came over Matt Van Buren at UFC Fight Night: McGregor vs. Siver. Perosh has rotated wins and losses in his last five UFC appearances, with his last fight being a win over Guto Inocente at UFC Fight Night: Rockhold vs. Bisping.
Matthews is currently undefeated as a professional MMA fighter, which includes a pair of victories under the UFC banner. Vick is also undefeated as a professional MMA fighter, most notably defeating Ramsey Nijem at UFC Fight Night: Sonnen vs. Shogun. Ham is currently winless under the UFC banner, having dropped a bout to Joanne Calderwood at the UFC Ultimate Fighter 20 Finale. Rawlings is also winless thus far in her UFC run, losing a fight to Heather Clark at the UFC Ultimate Fighter 20 Finale.
Andrews will enter the fight riding a two fight losing streak and he has not achieved a victory in nearly two years. Scott has won just one of three bouts under the UFC banner, with that lone win coming over Michael Kuiper at UFC Fight Night: Machida vs. Munoz. Chambers is currently winless thus far in her UFC tenure, losing a bout to Aisling Daly at the UFC Ultimate Fighter 20 Finale. Curran is also winless thus far in her UFC run, with her loss coming to Paige Van Zant at UFC Fight Night: Edgar vs. Swanson.
Grujic has only won just one of three bouts under the UFC banner, with that lone win coming over Chris Indich at UFC Fight Night: Te Huna vs. Marquardt. O’Reilly is currently winless thus far during his time in the UFC, dropping a fight to Lipeng Zhang at UFC Fight Night: Bisping vs. Le. UFC Fight Night 65 takes place on May 16th from the Adelaide Entertainment Centre in Adelaide, Australia with Mark Hunt and Stipe Miocic headlining.
