Two more bouts have been added to the upcoming UFC 187 card as Rose Namajunas faces Nina Ansaroff and Justin Scoggins faces Josh Sampo. Namajunas will be competing for the first time since losing to Carla Esparza for the inaugural women’s strawweight title at the UFC Ultimate Fighter 20 Finale. Ansaroff is also winless thus far under the UFC banner, having dropped a bout to Julianna De Lima at UFC Fight Night: Shogun vs. St. Preux.
Scoggins will enter the bout riding a two fight losing streak and he has not won a bout in just over a full year. Sampo has only won just one of three bouts under the UFC banner, with that lone win coming over Ryan Benoit at the UFC Ultimate Fighter 18 Finale. UFC 187 takes place on May 23rd from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada with Jon Jones and Anthony Johnson headlining.
