BURT WATSON LEAVES UFC

One of the most recognizable employees of the UFC, site coordinator Burt Watson, has announced his departure from the promotion after a fourteen year run in the UFC. Watson, better known as the “babysitter to the stars” by most in the UFC, exited the promotion after a rumored altercation with veteran middleweight Mark Munoz at the weigh-ins prior to UFC 184. Watson was not seen in his customary position on that night or the following evenings UFC 184 event, where he can be regularly seen as the fighters make their way to the octagon. This past year at the 2014 World MMA Awards, Watson was awarded the “Lifetime Achievement Award.”
