Current Bellator MMA Light Heavyweight Champion Liam McGeary has signed a contract extension that will keep him within the promotion for the foreseeable future. McGeary won the championship back at Bellator 134, when he defeated then champion Emanuel Newton by decision. The next title defense for McGeary has yet to be announced, but a rematch with Newton, or potential bouts with King Mo and Tito Ortiz have been rumored.
