LONGTIME MMA VETERAN SIGNING WWE DEAL

Longtime MMA veteran, Phil Baroni, has stated on his Twitter account today that he is heading to WWE Wrestlemania 31 to sign a developmental deal with the company. Baroni has amassed a record of 15-18-0 during his fifteen year MMA career, competing in such promotions as the UFC, Bellator MMA, PRIDE and Strikeforce. Baroni has been training in the Las Vegas based Future Stars Of Wrestling training facility alongside former WWE European Champion D-Lo Brown and former TNA X Champion Kenny King. Baroni retired from MMA after a loss to fellow UFC veteran Karo Parisyan at Bellator 122, the loss added to a three fight losing streak.
