A welterweight division attraction has been added to UFC 189 as Brandon Thatch is in action against John Howard. Thatch has won two of three fights under the UFC banner, most notably defeating Paulo Thiago at UFC Fight Night: Belfort vs. Henderson. Howard will enter the fight riding a three fight losing streak and he has not won a bout in nearly two years. UFC 189 takes place on July 11th from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada with Jose Aldo and Conor McGregor headlining.
