Three huge bouts have been added to UFC On Fox 16, they will see UFC Bantamweight Champion TJ Dillashaw defend the gold against Renan Barao, Anthony Pettis face Myles Jury and Jessica Eye face Meisha Tate. Dillashaw will be making the second defense of his championship, a championship he won by defeating Barao at UFC 173. Barao has been undefeated since losing the gold, having defeated Mitch Clarke at UFC Fight Night: Machida vs. Dollaway.
Pettis will be competing for the first time since losing the UFC Lightweight Title to Rafael Dos Anjos at UFC 185. Jury will be looking to rebound from his first professional MMA defeat, which came to Donald Cerrone at UFC 182.
Eye will be looking to build on the momentum of her first UFC victory, which came over Leslie Smith at UFC 180. Tate will enter the fight riding a three fight winning streak, most notably defeating Sara McMann at UFC 183. UFC On Fox 16 takes place on July 25th from the United Center in Chicago, Illinois with TJ Dillashaw and Renan Barao headlining.
