A veteran of the first ever UFC event, Kevin Rosier, has passed away at the age of 53 after suffering a heart attack. Rosier made it to the semi-finals of the inaugural UFC event (which was a tournament), losing to Gerard Gordeau. Rosier competed for a few more years outside of the UFC, most notably fighting Dan Severn twice in 1998. Rosier retired with a record of 2-6-0, his last fight was a loss to Brad Gabriel at Impact Fighting Championships: Battleground 2000 in January 2000.
