Nate Diaz has not signed the contract to face Matt Brown at UFC 189, Brown will instead be fighting Tim Means at the event. Brown will enter the fight riding a two fight losing streak and he has not achieved a victory in nearly a year. Means has won four of five fights in his second UFC run, most notably defeating Dhiego Lima at UFC 184. UFC 189 takes place on July 11th from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada with Jose Aldo and Conor McGregor headlining.
