Longtime MMA veteran Eben Kaneshiro has passed way from an apparent suicide, he was 36 years old as of his passing. Kaneshiro was found dead by officers in his Deschutes County Jail (Oregon) cell, he was being held on charges of sexual abuse and sodomy of a child under the age of twelve. Kaneshiro had competed in MMA for nearly thirteen years, fighting such notables as Nam Phan, Urijah Faber, Rani Yahya and Evan Dunham. Kaneshiro last competed at Front Street Fights MMA III in November 2014, suffering a defeat to Bellator MMA veteran Jesse Brock.
