Alexander Gustafsson has suffered an injury and he is off UFC Fight Night 69, he was set to headline against Glover Teixeira. Teixeira has also been pulled from the card, with rumors suggesting he will now headline a fight night event against Ryan Bader. The new main event of UFC Fight Night 69 will now be a UFC Women’s Strawweight Title Fight as champion Joanna Jedrzejczyk defends against Jessica Penne.
Pena was originally set to face Juliana Lima at UFC Fight Night 67 on May 30th, Lima is expected to get another opponent. This title fight will be a historical one for the UFC, as it will be the first title fight that will be part of a UFC Fight Pass exclusive event. UFC Fight Night 69 takes place on June 20th from 02 World in Berlin, Germany with Joanna Jedrzejczyk and Jessica Penne headlining.
