Brandon Halsey has missed weight for his middleweight title defense against Kendall Grove for Bellator 137, Scott Coker has announced that Halsey has been stripped of his championship. Grove can still walk away with the championship tonight if he manages to defeat Halsey, the bout will remain a five round affair. If Grove does not become champion, Bellator MMA officials will find two other top contenders to fight for the gold at a future date. Bellator 137 takes place on May 15th from the Pechanga Resort & Casino in Temecula, California with Brandon Halsey and Kendall Grove headlining.
