Ten fight UFC veteran Costas Philippou has announced his retirement from the sport, he retires with a record of 13-5-0-1NC. Philippou spent over four years in the UFC, fighting top names like Jorge Rivera, Nick Catone, Court McGee, Tim Boetsch, Francis Carmont, Luke Rockhold, Lorenz Larkin and Gegard Mousasi. Philippou's last bout before retirement came at UFC Fight Night: Edgar vs. Faber in May 2015, losing to Gegard Mousasi by decision.
