Keri Anne Melendez, wife of UFC veteran Gilbert Melendez, has signed a multi-fight contract with Bellator MMA. Melendez will first be competing in a kickboxing bout at the Bellator MMA/Glory Kickboxing joint event in September, but will transition to MMA afterwards. Melendez has yet to compete in an MMA bout of any kind, but she is a very accomplished muay thai fighter.
