A potential title eliminator in the featherweight division as Frankie Edgar steps into the octagon to battle Chad Mendes. Edgar will enter the four on a four fight winning streak and he is a former UFC Lightweight Champion. Mendes will be competing for the first time since losing to UFC Interim Featherweight Champion Conor McGregor at UFC 189. UFC Ultimate Fighter 22 Finale takes place on December 11th from a location TBA in Las Vegas, Nevada with the aforementioned fighters headlining.
