BIG NOG RETIRES

Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira has announced his retirement from UFC competition, his MMA record was 34-10-1-1NC. Nogueira has been competing for sixteen years and he is a former UFC Interim Heavyweight Champion. During his sixteen year MMA career, Nogueira fought top names like Valentijn Overeem, Dan Henderson, Gary Goodridge, Mark Coleman, Heath Herring, Bob Sapp, Semmy Schilt, Fedor Emelianenko, Ricco Rodriguez, Mirko Cro Cop, Fabricio Werdum, Josh Barnett, Tim Sylvia, Frank Mir, Randy Couture, Cain Velasquez, Brendan Schaub, Roy Nelson and Stefan Struve. Nogueira’s last bout came at UFC 190 in August 2015, where he suffered a unanimous decision defeat to the aforementioned Stefan Struve.
