Following a recent series of articles about unsanctioned MMA events in California by MMAFighting.com’s Marc Raimondi, the California State Athletic Commission (CSAC) has ruled that wins/losses from unsanctioned MMA events will no longer count towards a fighters record. For those who don’t know, MMA promotions like Xplode Fight Series holds events on Indian reservations and those events fall under the rule of the reservation, not the CSAC or any other commission. There is no word yet when or if any other states will follow suit, but this is not the end of tis situation by a long shot.
