Longtime UFC veteran Sam Stout has announced his retirement from MMA competition, he retires with a record of 20-12-1. Stout has been competing for over twelve years, fighting top names like Yves Jabouin, Spencer Fisher, Kenny Florian, Rich Clementi, Terry Etim, Matt Wiman, Joe Lauzon, Jeremy Stephens, Yves Edwards, Thiago Tavares, John Makdessi, Cody McKenzie, KJ Noons and Ross Pearson. Stout last competed at UFC Fight Night: Holloway vs. Oliveira, where he suffered a TKO loss to Frankie Perez.
