Following his failed drug test for marijuana at UFC 183, Nick Diaz has been suspended five years and fined $165,000 by the Nevada State Athletic Commission (NSAC). Diaz’s attorney, Lucas Middlebrook said that they will be looking into legal action against the NSAC. Diaz lost to Anderson Silva in the main event of UFC 183 this past January, Silva was also suspended by the NSAC for failing a drug test as well, although his punishment was far less than what Diaz received.
