CWE Presents "The Whole F'N Show" Rob Van Dam.
In what created a deafening response Friday night in Winnipeg at CWE's Girls, Girls, Girls event it was announced that arguably the biggest star to ever appear for CWE was being presented for the 2015 Central Canadian Comic Con in Rob Van Dam!
Whether you know him as "Mr. Monday Night", "The Whole F'N Show", "Mr. Pay Per View" you know that Rob Van Dam is one of the biggest pulp culture icons and popular stars in the history of professional wrestling.
From beginning as a cult icon for the legendary ECW promotion Rob Van Dam put the land of extreme on the map with a death defying athletic style of professional wrestling never witnessed before at its time. The company grew at a rapid rate with RVD at the forefront.
When ECW finally closed its doors in 2001 Rob Van Dam went from cult icon to World wide star and one of the most popular stars in the history of World Wrestling Entertainment. Never one to fit the stereotypical "formula" of a WWE superstar Rob Van Dam broke all barriers and glass ceilings with his innovative style of action and his unmatched connection with any audience.
His popularity showed no bounds and RVD would eventually go on to capture the World Championship.
Still active in professional wrestling RVD makes cameo appearances for WWE and makes the very rare appearance on the independent circuit.
Rob Van Dam will be live at the 2015 Central Canadian Comic Con on October 31st from 10am-pm and Sunday 1pm-3pm for picture and autograph opportunities.
