BELLATOR MMA VETERAN BRETT COOPER RETIRES

Longtime Bellator MMA veteran Brett Cooper has announced his retirement from the sport, he retires with a record of 21-12-0. Cooper did make it to the finals of two middleweight tournaments in Bellator MMA and once challenged then middleweight champion Alexander Shlemenko for the gold at Bellator 98, but he came up short. During his ten year MMA career, Cooper fought top names like Jason Von Flue, Rory Markham, Steve Carl, Alexander Shlemenko, Joe Doerkson, Doug Marshall, Kendall Grove, Brandon Halsey and Maiquel Falcao. Cooper’s last bout as a pro came this past Halloween at KSW MMA 32, where he suffered a knockout loss to UFC veteran Maiquel Falcao.
