n less than one week, the United Wrestling Coalition is hosting their annual UWC Toys for Tots Pro Wrestling Toy Drive this Saturday, December 5, 2015. The event will take place at Kelly's Banquet Hall in Wrightstown, New Jersey. Admission is FREE when you donate a new unwrapped toy (with a suggested minimum value of just $10) at the door.
DOORS OPENING EARLY!! The posters say Doors Open at 6:30 - but we've decided to open the doors at 6:00 PM to give you some extra time checking out the door prizes, merchandise, and food! Bell time is still slated for 7:00 p.m.
All spectators will receive FREE door prize tickets for their chance to win one of nearly 50 door prizes. Additional door prize tickets are available for purchase.
The evening of December 5th will feature a visit by Santa, as well as action-packed matches.
In the main event, UWC Heavyweight Champion Textbook Philly Madison will defend his title against Number One Contender The “Thriller” Andd Bivians. Bivians earned his shot at the title by defeating The “Olympian” Dave Patera, Mr. Rig, and UWC Tag Team Champion Slayer in a fatal four-way match. Philly Madison has turned back every challenger since he won the belt in March. This should be one for the ages!
There will also be an incredible six-man tag team bout as The Unholy Alliance (Billy Lassiter, The Ripper, and Bobby Piper, along with manager Mr. Black) clashes with The Orphan and two mystery partners. Thus far, The Orphan has been tight-lipped as to whom his two partners may be, but he assures us that The Unholy Alliance will finally receive their comeuppance!
You’ll also see The Black List Firm, Dave Davis, Delmonico The Destroyer, Craig Francis, The Great Cerenzio, Nate Mustang, The United Force, a special appearance by Gabby Gilbert, and more of your UWC favorites!
United Wrestling Coalition has earned a wonderful reputation for running family-oriented pro wrestling events. Their events are designed to offer the very best entertainment while enhancing the community and helping to raise awareness and capital for various worthy causes.
The show typically runs two hours, and door prizes will be awarded at the conclusion of the show.
This year's event is sponsored by Lucas Chrysler Jeep Dodge of Mount Holly as well as Kate & Al's Pizza of Columbus Farmers Market.
Once dubbed the largest single toy drive effort in Burlington County, UWC has been hosting these events for nearly 20 years. In that time, through the generous donations of loyal fans, local businesses, as well as the wrestlers themselves, UWC has collected well over 18,000 toys for the US Marine Corps Toys For Tots campaign.
Since the time of our very first Toys for Tots Pro Wrestling Toy Drive, many other promotions have jumped on board with their own version of a toy drive.
"To see the effort grow is such a rewarding experience," says promoter Lois Thomas. “After all, every toy donated helps put a smile on the face and in the hearts of well deserving children. Helping others helps us all," she adds.
Special ringside seating is being reserved for those pledging (in advance of the 12/5 show) to donate a new bicycle. One bicycle donation will reward you up to five reserved seats. To make your pledge to donate a bike, call 609-792-9328.
Scouting Packs as well as youth sporting teams are encouraged to enter a friendly competition to see who can collect the most toys and deliver them to this event! Participating groups will receive special seating at the event. You must register your group in advance by calling 609-792-9328.
