Cain Velasquez has suffered a back injury and he is out of the UFC 196 main event, Fabricio Werdum will now be defending the heavyweight championship against Stipe Miocic. Werdum will be making the first defense of his championship, which he won by defeating Cain Velasquez at UFC 188. Miocic has won five of his last six bouts under the UFC banner, most notably defeating Andrei Arlovski at UFC 195. UFC 196 takes place on February 6th from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada with Fabricio Werdum and Stipe Miocic headlining.
