3/12 UWC 20th ANNIVERSARY RESULTS IN WRIGHTSTOWN, NJ

By Mike Johnson on 3/16/2016 11:57 AM

RESULTS:
United Wrestling Coalition 20th Anniversary Show
Wrightstown, New Jersey at Kelly’s Bar/Banquet Hall
March 12, 2016

Ring Announcer: Daisy
Referees: George Pinaha and Scott Volk
Commentators: Chris Wilcox and Mr. Black
President: Joe Rules

1) “The One” Geoffrey Bravo with his manager Preston Montgomery, Esq. pinned Nate Mustang to successfully defend the United States Championship. Preston Montgomery, however, did not fare so well once Mustang got his hands on him after the bout!

2) Heavyweight Champion Textbook Philly Madison was the first-ever guest on “Words With Wilcox,” a new talk show hosted by Chris Wilcox. They were joined by President Joe Rules. Since he pinned Number One Contender “Thriller” Andd Bivians in December, Philly Madison had the right to choose who he would defend his belt against at this event. He chose one half of The United Force, Spectrum, perhaps thinking it would be an easy night. President Rules informed Philly Madison that the winner of tonight’s championship match would have to defend the title at the May 7 event at Kelly’s Banquet Hall--AGAINST THE “THRILLER” ANDD BIVIANS!

3) UWC Tag Team Champion Rudo The Heel pinned Big Rig.

4) The Unholy Alliance of Billy Lassiter & Bobby Piper with The Ripper defeated The Orphan & Warhead when Lassiter pinned Orphan after hitting him with a loaded forearm guard. Prior to the bout, there was a 10-Bell Salute to the late “Iron” Mike Sharpe. “Iron” Mike Sharpe trained every wrestler in this match, as well as Mark “Cannon” Melaccio.

5) In a three-way dance, The Great Cerenzio defeated T.G.I. Fredo Majors and The Ripper with Mr. Black. Ripper thought he had the win as he covered Majors, but Cerenzio covered Ripper as he was covering Majors! Referee Scott Volk ruled that since he was on top, Cerenzio is the winner.

6) Heavyweight Champion Textbook Philly Madison pinned Spectrum. The match began with a handshake, and then Spectrum gave Madison all he could handle and then some. Philly Madison felt he had no choice but to resort to underhanded tactics. After defeating Spectrum, Madison continued to beat on him, finally turning his back on the fans once and for all! Warhead ran out to save his TUF tag team partner, and he challenged Madison to a match next month. Textbook Philly Madison will defend the Heavyweight Title against Warhead on April 9 at Kelly’s Banquet Hall!

7) The main event was the UWC Legends Six-Man Tag Team Match. Six of the greatest wrestlers in the UWC’s 20-year history were coming back for one more match! “Dirty” Don Montoya & “Sterling” Rick Silver & Cell Block Four Bubba were set to take on President Joe Rules & Mark “Cannon” Melaccio, and The Mystery Legend. The Mystery Legend turned out to be none other than SILLY BILLY, perhaps the most popular wrestler ever in UWC! In the end, Joe Rules, Cannon, and Silly Billy emerged victorious when Silly Billy pinned Bubba following a superkick. In a rare display of good sportsmanship, all six legends shook hands and embraced after the bout.

The United Wrestling Coalition returns to Kelly’s Banquet Hall on April 9, 2016 with Textbook Philly Madison defending the Heavyweight Title against Warhead.  Until then, here’s to another 20 years! www.facebook.com/UWCFanCave
