UWC RETURNING TO NEW JERSEY NEXT MONTH WITH THE ORPHAN'S RETIREMENT MATCH AND MORE

By Mike Johnson on 3/27/2016 7:24 PM

The United Wrestling Coalition returns to Kelly’s Bar/Banquet Hall in Wrightstown, New Jersey on Saturday night, April 9, 2016. Doors open at 6:30, and bell time is 7:00 p.m. Admission is $10. This event will feature a Double Main Event!

The first half of our double main event will be the retirement match of a UWC icon: The Orphan! "Hey guys, I decided to hang up the wrestling boots. April 9th will be my last show for UWC in Wrightstown, New Jersey," said The Orphan. "Thank you for the last 20 years. To Dave and Lois and the entire UWC staff, locker room, and fans, I am truly and deeply going to miss you all." The Orphan has been with the United Wrestling Coalition for almost all of its 20 years, and he has held every championship UWC has offered. The Orphan’s final opponent will be revealed shortly. We urge everyone to come out to say goodbye and celebrate The Orphan's amazing journey!

In the second half of our double main event, Textbook Philly Madison defends the UWC Heavyweight Championship against Warhead. On March 12, Madison chose to completely turn his back on his fans, locking his opponent Spectrum in a vicious submission hold after the bout was already over. Spectrum’s tag team partner in The United Force, Warhead, made the save and challenged Philly Madison to a championship match. The winner of this match on April 9 will go on to defend the title on May 7 against none other than The “Thriller” Andd Bivians!

Also signed to appear April 9 at Kelly’s Bar/Banquet Hall: United States Champion "The One" Geoffrey Bravo, Tag Team Champions The Short Bus Express, Big Rig, The Great Cerenzio, The “Lost Boy” Jay Kirby, T.G.I. Fredo Majors, Nate Mustang, Spectrum, The Unholy Alliance, Ring Announcer Daisy, and more!

Remember, the UWC returns April 9, 2016 to Kelly’s Bar/Banquet Hall, 14 Railroad Avenue, Wrightstown, NJ 08562. Bell time is 7:00 p.m., and tickets are $10.
