MANY FIGHTS ADDED TO UFC FIGHT NIGHT 89

Six more fights have been added to the upcoming UFC Fight Night 89 card as Steve Bosse faces Sean O’Connell, Sam Alvey faces Ellias Theodoru, Misha Cirkunov faces Ion Cutelaba, Olivier Aubin-Mercier faces Thibault Gouti, Krzysztof Jotko faces Tamdan McCrory and Colby Covington faces Alex Garcia. Bosse will be looking to build on the momentum of his first UFC win, which came over James Te Huna at UFC Fight Night: Hunt vs. Mir. O’Connell has won two of his last three under the UFC banner, most notably defeating Anthony Perosh at UFC Fight Night: Miocic vs. Hunt.

Alvey has won three of his last four under the UFC banner, with a notable win coming over Cezar Ferreira at UFC Fight Night: Silva vs. Mir. Theodoru will be looking to rebound from his first professional MMA defeat, which came to Thiago Santos at UFC Fight Night: Namajunas vs. VanZant. Cirkunov is currently undefeated under the UFC banner, last defeating Alex Nicholson at UFC Fight Night: Hendricks vs. Thompson. Cutelaba will be making his UFC debut in this fight and all eleven wins he got as a pro came via first round finish.

Aubin-Mercier has won three of his last four under the UFC banner, most notably defeating David Michaud at UFC 186. Gouti is currently winless under the UFC banner, dropping aa fight to Teemu Packalen at UFC Fight Night: Bisping vs. Silva. Jotko will enter the fight riding a three fight winning streak, last defeating Bradley Scott at UFC Fight Night: Bipsing vs. Silva. McCrory is currently undefeated in his second UFC run, having defeated Josh Samman at UFC On Fox 17.

Covington will be looking to rebound from his first defeat as a professional MMA fighter, which came to Warlley Alves at UFC 194. Garcia has rotated wins and losses in his last four UFC appearances, with his last bout being a loss to Sean Strickland at UFC Fight Night: Cerrone vs. Oliveira. UFC Fight Night 89 takes place on June 18th from a location TBA in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada with Rory MacDonald and Stephen Thompson headlining.
