Despite having a 6-2-0 record in the UFC, the promotion has decided to cut heavyweight contender Jared Rosholt from the roster. Rosholt earned victories over top names like Walt Harris, Stefan Struve, Josh Copeland and Soa Palelei in the UFC, while dropping fights to Roy Nelson and Allexey Olienik. Rosholt’s last fight in the promotion came at UFC Fight Night: Hendricks vs. Thompson, where he suffered a decision loss to Roy Nelson.
